Joint Commission Readiness

Departmental mock survey

Purpose: A random survey is done to assess the knowledge of clinical and non-clinical staff of their environment. It is designed to test and review specific code violations the Joint Commission Agency will look for while visiting your site. The results will be noted, corrective actions will be taken and the reports will be readily available upon request for 3 years. Clinical care will not be compromised during this exercise.

Repairs and Preventative Maintenance

We take pride in our work. We treat the equipment we repair as if it would to be used on a family member. We use relevant testers and OEM parts on every repair. For cost savings, we bid on at least 3 vendors  before we place an order. We realize time is precious, we stock basic parts/accessories and expedite orders if necessary.

We remain available from acquiring to the disposition of the equipment. We will advise facilities when a piece of equipment is becoming obsolete to prepare them for future purchases.

Inventory of Facilities Equipment

Equipment to be inventoried at the first site visit once a contract has been established.

We will maintain a clear inventory by equipment category and by department.  We will provide an update when equipment is added or deleted. We will maintain a service manual and we will provide a user's guide to each department. Upon completion of a new install, we will coordinate an in-service with the staff to get everyone acclimated.

Biomedical Engineering Training

A Biomedical Engineering Training class is offered to everyone interested in  a new career. It involves basic knowledge of electronics, electromechanical and a broad knowledge of medical equipment preventative maintenance and repairs. Preparation for BMET and CBET certifications.
